The new feature, "In My Own Words," is a space for members of the NECO community to reflect thoughtfully on real-world events and issues that shape our lives, our profession, and our shared responsibility to one another. NECO is pleased to welcome two guest lecturers from the Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College, who will be presenting lectures as part of NECO's Continuing Education program.

Earlier this month, several NECO alums and residents joined Partners for Visual Health (PVH) to visit two clinics in Santa Ana and San Miguel, El Salvador. PVH partners with ASAPROSAR, a local health clinic, which focuses on increasing vision care to rural communities. 

NECO staff will be in Ontario, Canada in late March for the OptiFair trade show, during which time they will host  alumni for an evening to reconnect, network, and celebrate.
