As the weather starts to warm up and we head into the spring season, the HR team wants to share a few quick reminders to help you stay healthy, focused, and feeling your best.
Here are a few ways to prioritize your well-being this month:
- Prep for Allergy Season: With springtime blossoms come rising pollen levels in our area. Now is a great time to start your seasonal allergy treatments or consult with a professional so you can enjoy the outdoors comfortably.
- Prioritize Mindfulness: Stress doesn’t follow the seasons, but mindfulness can help you build the resilience to manage it year-round. As a reminder, all NECO faculty and staff have free access to Headspace.
- Support Whenever You Need It: Don’t forget that our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available 24/7. It is completely confidential, and offers support for a wide range of personal and professional needs including emotional support as well as financial guidance and questions about legal matters. You can access their services anytime via the GuidanceNow app.
- Utilize your PTO. Remember that NECO has a “use it or lose it” vacation policy. Make sure you are scheduling your time off to take care of yourself.
- NECO Anniversaries. On Thursday, April 30 at Noon, we will be coming together in LH2 at the Beacon site to celebrate the longevity of our staff and faculty. Everyone is encouraged to join us at this annual event.
