We are delighted to welcome Daniela Vinci, who joined NECO on September 1, 2026, as our new Controller.
Daniela is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA in Accounting and more than 11 years of progressive experience in nonprofit accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. Most recently, she served as Audit Manager at Smith, Sullivan & Brown, P.C., where she led complex audits, financial reporting, and compliance engagements for nonprofit institutions.
Daniela was selected following a comprehensive search supported by a search committee and a highly competitive pool of more than 100 candidates. In her role, she will oversee key aspects of accounting operations, internal controls, and financial reporting, serve as a primary liaison for the annual external audit, and partner with colleagues across campus to support the integrity and accuracy of NECO’s financial statements.
