FitAcademy 2026
NECO hosted BostonSight for the eighth annual FitAcademy for Cornea and Contact Lens residents from September 11–13, 2026. FitAcademy is an immersive conference that teaches residents about state-of-the-art scleral lens designs to troubleshoot and manage complex ocular surface disease and irregular corneas.
This year, residents and FitAcademy faculty enjoyed a ballgame at Fenway Park to kickoff the event!
Gas Permeable Lens Institute (GPLI) Residency Symposium 2026
NECO hosted the Gas Permeable Lens Institute (GPLI) Residency Symposium from August 5th to 9th, bringing together over 100 visitors including new Cornea Contact Lens and Ocular Disease residents, contact lens industry representatives, and leaders in the field. This is the first time this prestigious conference has been hosted at NECO.
