“Polite Parking” at NECO

This fall marks an exciting chapter for our community as we open the doors to the brand-new Clinical Training Center (CTC) on Beacon Street. With this milestone comes a surge of new energy—more students, faculty, and visitors will be joining us on campus than ever before.

And with more people, of course, comes more cars.

We all know parking in the Back Bay can already be a challenge. As our small lot gets busier, it’s more important than ever to approach parking with patience, courtesy, and a shared sense of responsibility. That’s why we’re promoting Polite Parking, a community commitment to being thoughtful, respectful, and mindful of how we use our limited parking space.

Parking on campus is a privilege, and together, we can make it work. We’re sharing this message now to raise awareness ahead of time and to encourage creative ideas and feedback on how we can best support one another during peak times.

Thank you for being part of a community that cares, and for helping keep our shared parking spaces positive and stress-free.

REMINDER: If you park behind someone else in the NECO lot, you can use the NECO Parking Assistant to notify them. Check the NECO car tag on the other car’s windshield and visit this link on the portal to let them know what time you expect to be leaving campus. This is one example of our Polite Parking initiative in action. Thanks for your cooperation!
