Earlier this year, fellow faculty and staff launched The Tecleab Neguse Scholarship Fund fund to honor Tec’s 38 years of dedicated service to the college. Created to support students who exemplify his spirit of community service, this fund is making great progress.
Thanks to 16 generous donors, we’ve raised $5,800 so far—more than half way to our $10,000 goal to fully endow the fund. Reaching this milestone ensures Tec’s legacy and deep commitment to NECO lives on in perpetuity. Most excitingly, it will allow us to award the very first scholarship to a deserving student this spring.
Donors to Tec’s scholarship have told us they were inspired by his unwavering kindness, deep commitment, selflessness, steady dedication, and care for the college community.
